Back to Western WY!!!!  Region of H.

How'd you manage that after holding a G tag last year?  :yike: Draw in the random?

My little brother felt bad for me and forfeited his G tag so we could hunt H together.

Drew antelope buck tags for our group.   Struck out on the doe tags though.   Over twice as many applicants this year in the unit we applied.   Lucky to have a friend who has been sitting on a pile of points and wanted to hunt this year.  Guess I owe him a beer or two.

I mean, I kinda feel like it’s payment for 37 years of being an awesome older brother?  Debt paid! :chuckle:

Put in for an antelope area where it took 3 points to draw last year but I really wanted a tag in another area that took <5 points to draw. I wanted to hunt antelope this year so I went with the 3 point area. It now took <5 points to draw that area and other area went down to 3 points to draw it WTF?

had a strong premonition to apply for the area I really wanted to hunt and even if I didn't draw a buck tag I would probably have drawn two doe antelope tags and could do some bird hunting and fishing. Did I follow my premonition, hell no. No WY hunting for me.

The goat herd took a bit of a beating in several areas, but not the entire state so I wouldn't be surprised if guys moved their apps around in response.

I am going to buy some points tomorrow
School me on the process. Do I just buy one for each species that I want to hunt in the future? Is it an easy process?

Yes. You need to sign up with them if you don't already have a Wyoming number. Then you just go in and buy whatever points you want.

When is the deadline for buying points...September right?
