"The Squeaker" great for Bobcat trapping
« on: June 23, 2020, 12:16:50 PM »

Hi Folks,   :hello:
I ran across some battery operated electronic squeakers that I had in a bucket buried under a pile of stuff in my garage.  Holy cows, what you find when you start cleaning up.  I don't need them and I'm sure they work.  I must of used them in my ADC Business.

The” Squeaker” was made by Ed Courtney when he lived in Texas back in the 70s!  Great for cats, not so much on coyotes as they are spooky as hell.  They were originally designed for a 6V lantern battery, but some people convert them over to use 1.5V  lithium AA batteries as they last for about a month even in subzero temperatures.  I use to put them in plastic bags as the squeakers are not waterproof.  The electronics are sealed but the speaker is not.  I have five of these.

I also ran across two round balls squeakers similar electronic of its time.  I have two of these.  If I remember right I think they have a bird distress sound.  Also in the bucket were eight (8) of these other things if I remember were a red light (I can't remember if they stayed on or blinked all of the time)

I have a guy that says he'll take them but before I send them out to him I'm wondering if any of you want them instead.
Cost for everything is: $140.00 you pick them up (Monroe) or I'll send them to you but you pay shipping.
JC   :hello:
