Okay I'm not a newbie.
I'm getting my things together for turkey opener.... license and tags from WDFW out of the envelope. No turkey tag. Do you in fact have to purchase a separate tag this year? I thought small game took care of it.....Man,  they change this stuff every year!! I checked the website it looks like you do, but thought I might be able to get a faster answer here.

Yes, but if you buy online you can use your 10 day temporary license until you recieve the real one in the mail.

You can use your temporary license until the real one shows up but you still need a permanent tag on your person!  Go to the store and pick one up.
