Sightron Scopes
«
on:

Hello all, I'm new to this site. I have a friend that bought a Sightron rifle scope. I looked through it and did some research on it and it looks like a good optic for the price. Anyone have any information on them? I'm looking to buy one for my .308. Thanks in advance and have a good evening. John

Never owned 1 but have looked through several. Shot a 7 mag w/ a Sightron on it and was impressed w/ the edge to edge clarity and eye relief at higher powers. From the research/reviews I've looked at, they appear to be a solid product.... would certainly consider owning one. Seem to be a pretty decent value.

I feel the same way intruder. The write up on the Sightron 11 is very close to the Leupold vx2, but over 100.00 cheaper. I think I'm probably going to wind up buying the Sightron. John

I have two Sightron II's, a 1.5x6 and a 3x9. The 1.5x6 is one of my favorite coyote hunting scopes both are very clear and nice scopes for the money.

I had one, cause I let the sporting good clerk talk me into it. Was excited to try it and get my rifle sighted in. I use millet base and rings. The sightron would not hold a group for me. Shots sprayed in all over a 10'' target at 100 yard. Took it back and bought a Leupole VXII, problem solve. This was a few years ago. I will not own another sightron, and cant recommend them.

C-Money, you must have been at tri-state. Those guys push those scopes hard, must be a bigger mark up for them. I have a 3-9 sightron on a 30-06, it seems good, no problems so far. It will be replaced by a Leupold though, just a matter of time.

Yes 509er, it was at Tri- State. My trouble with sightron was for real, not a story just to get my money back. I do some hunting Spur_ride , and he has had good success with his sightron on a 300wby.
