6 oz lighter than EL’s with better view is huge - like the price !
Looks to me that they are same weight as EL's

Dear Swaro, stuff a rangefinder with applied ballistics in that NL Pure and then I'll fire sale all my stuff and sell my second born child to pick up a pair.

B&H Photo has them in stock, unfortunately they are in NY...however, Cabela's has "sale" going on the El's and the SLC's, typical of Cabela's their "sale" price is the regular retail price for the EL's at B&H.

I don’t want to look through the new stuff. I wanted to cry when I bought my new 10x42 ELs for $1300 way back. I’m sure they are impressive.

I said the exact same thing about the forehead rest........then I actually tried it out on a friend's pair. I haven't bought one yet, but I'm leaning towards it.

I took the plunge. Ordered a pair of the 12x42’s a couple weeks ago. Hopefully in a couple weeks I’ll have them.

I've had the tens since end of October....they are dang nice...that extra field of view sure makes a big difference when panning and the clarity is something youl just need to see for your self

The forhead rest is also pretty nice as I was very skeptical as well...but after a couple months I'm definitely not getting rid of it

Now trying to find a bino harness that fits properly  is another topic...
