It looks like there are a number of us in a similar situation. Maybe even enough for a new regular hunting party.  ;) All my hunting experience has been game birds in South Carolina as a teenager, but then I moved overseas where hunting isn't allowed. Last year, I relocated to Washington working at a tech company in Seattle and living in Kirkland. The tech industry isn't exactly the best place to meet other people interested in firearms or hunting, so I'm a party of one at this point.

I've been digitally scouting some potential areas for Spring Turkey, but am also interested deer, elk and waterfowl later in the year. If someone is coordinating a meet up for some of us looking for a group hunters, I'm definitely interested in joining.

Washington Watefowl assocation Seattle chapter meets at the Kenmore gun range.

Did anyone end up finding people to hunt with from this thread? I'm also mid 30s, live in Seattle, and a beginner hunter (archery and MF), but with quite a bit of backpacking experience. Hoping to get into grouse, deer, and elk and planning some scouting trips over the next month or so. Happy to meetup.

Silver Arrow Bowmen has a Nice walk through course of 50 targets you can make the day of it. Because of Covid social interaction is way down. It is just 2 miles off I5 exit 224 and only $3 to shoot for the day Its on Facebook has a web site and I started a thread about it under the Classifieds contests and organizations thread.

Thanks Special T - I'll check it out. Was hoping to sign up for a 3d shoot for the first time, but with most of those being cancelled, that looks like a great option.

In normal years the WSAA has the shoot schedule that covers 90% of the archery shoots held in the state.
