Yessir it’s tough. Not from a hunting background, new to WA, etc. in the woods every weekend working on it though

Since I think I’ve killed more record book bucks than you are years old, I’ll have to sit this one out. Karl and I will have to watch from our rockers on the porch.

Once ran into a college geology class in Yellowstone, as the students were crawling up the trail the comment was that old fool, 60+ year old prof, is going to kill us.  20 always needs help, 35 is just getting started, good luck!!!

As Karl stated.  I have met some pretty cool people off of this forum and a couple I hunt with.  I hate to say it but I am getting old to.  Good luck to you.

I was more skeptical of the UW and liking to hike and hunt.  Something isn't adding up.     



 

Hey now, I did both undergrad and grad school at UW, and I was a hunting addict then as now. Not every inmate in the Purple and Gold is a vegan New Ager...

For the record, I work at WSU now...   

But seriously, to the OP, totally fine to want to get a group of hunting friends in your age class, but remember to dedicate some real time to learning from people with decades of hunting experience.   Hunting is a great example of an activity where long experience is incredibly important, whether acquired or handed down, or both.

Me being almost 60-- you are sadly under estimating what is old. Try to keep up young man!!!
