That is a nice buck, assuming he grows a couple more inches to help those back forks get deeper, i think that buck has a legitimate shot to be pushing 190".

169 gross tape to confirm
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

That buck is well over 169"

I wouldn't be too sure how "well over" ihe s. At a glance, I came up with 178. Then I added him up on paper and got 175. 36" mass, 23" mains, 2" 1s, 15" 2s, 7"&8" 3s, 10"&11" 4s, 20" inside spread credit, and a 3" kicker.  have a buddy who killed a mirror image of that buck last year and he taped 175 as well.

Heck of a buck regardless.

:yeah: spot on. Great buck, thanks for sharing.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

After looking at pics of my Wyoming buddy’s kid’s 176” last year, I would concur that buck is 170-175 as is with the possibility of adding a few more inches in the next few weeks. Pretty buck
