2A all the way. Exactly why it was written in the constitution, because the founders knew at some point the gov't could or would fail and citizens have the right to bear arms to defend themselves against all enemies foreign or domestic. Militia stereotype is so overblown its not funny, if a law abiding citizen shows up at a rally or defense of a town/city with a firearm they are considered a right wing proud boy, wrong, read the 2A.

The 2A poster children of the era are that couple (BLM supporters, likely dems, suburbanites) standing down the mob when it came to their front door.
