Charles and Mary Eder unit of the Scotch Creek permit
« on: July 16, 2020, 04:43:02 AM »
Does anyone have any experience hunting on/with the tag: Charles and Mary Eder unit of the Scotch Creek Wildlife Area in northeastern Okanogan County. I would like to know what's its like?

18 total permits I think 6 MF, 6 ML, 6 Arch........Only 2 entry points to the property, they gave out tickets last year when accessing from anywhere but those. Wife had it last year passed on alot of bucks and decided not to shoot any there. Daughter had it the year before and shot her first buck.

I was looking through the information on the website and the regulations brochure and I can't seem to see how you actually put in for these permits.  What am I missing?

Is this whitetail only? The tribal draw tags are whitetail only. I didn't see anywhere listing it as such.

That's a sign... do not apply! I would like to be the only one entering the draw. I know nothing about it, other than I apply for it every year. Never been drawn and I don't remember anyone getting drawn and posting anything about the hunt or area. That being said, good luck with the draw.

You have to draw the east okanogan tag first, then if you do there’s another draw for 5 permits to hunt the eder wildlife area. There are some nice whitetail in there! And mule deer!

:dunno:don't see anywhere that your statement above is required in this unique draw...

According to the link and application, you can only apply to hunt one of the general seasons. How do you apply to hunt the special permit season (November 1-20)?

you have to draw east Okanogan first,  then you will get a letter in the mail and a form to submit and apply.
