Shotgun Barrel Repair
« on: July 22, 2020, 09:02:01 AM »
A number of years back I acquired a Late 1960's Winchester Model 12 in 12 Gauge, in a gun lot I purchased.  The barrel has serious damage on it and is in need of repair.  The rest of the gun is in near perfect condition.  I'd like to keep the factory breech as the serial number on the breech matches the serial number on the receiver.  Is it possible to have a new section of barrel added to the existing barrel close to the breech?  Or am I just hoping for a miracle?

One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset
