The top pic looks like there's a hump to me so I said Grizz, maybe it's an illusion.

Don't rely on the hump as an identifying feature. All bears have shoulder blades that have the potential to protrude up looking like the hump you'd see on a grizzly.

Compared to some pictures online...it sure looks like its possibly a grizz. That would be an absolute giant for a black bear...if you have to question what it is then probably shouldnt shoot it.

I agree it's a blackizzy bear which means it is not a Grizzly.  :twocents:

A coywolf is not a wolf and a grey squirrel that lives on the west side is not a Grey squirrel.  :twocents:

A black tail deer on the east side is a mule deer and not a black tail deer.  :twocents:  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
