I tried the choking method with some tie wire on a stick last year. Got the noose around his neck no problem, but when I pulled he lunged forward and sent the trap into me! Luckily I kicked back but holy moly did he get some good scratches into my boot. The scene for anyone that would’ve walked up... me cursing and jumping around trying to get my boot somewhere he couldn’t reach, realized I had to much wire so I was winding it around my hand taking up slack until he pulled back and did the old reverse uno and was then choking out my finger tips, him jumping and kicking and reaching those razors through the bars for anything he could grab. Dang near lost my footing tripping on a stick and he lunged again. Tore my jeans. I finally got my boot against the upper bar and grabbed the wire two handed and did a power lift and that finally got him to stop. Think it was more neck breaker than choke. That was a fight and a half. 41” kitty had me whooped! Lasted maybe 30 seconds but felt like 10 minutes.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Amen

take the test online and get a trappers license. $42. Problem solved.  We have serious beaver problems at our place on the wenatchee River. Been reading alot about trapping and got my first beaver yesterday!!! Had a huge 1 last week but he absolutely destroyed my cage and got out.
looks like due to covid it's all online...might have to go this route.
thanks

Dont listen to that wussy crap.  Chicks dig scars.  Choke that sucker out.

John Wick sa
1. Live trap the bokitty in a cage trap.
2. transfer the cat to a square cage with a hinged top.
3. place the square cage with the top unsecured in a box marked Amazon.com.
4. leave it out at the edge of your fence gate in open view with a big flapping plastic bag half covering it.
5. watch as someone steals your package.
6. watch the story on your local news station.

I like this idea :chuckle:

Do it forget to video tape it!
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
Psalm 144.1
