Grandson first bear/sturgeon.

Grandson and my Son came over for a few days. Grandson was wanting to shoot a bear. the first couple of days we drew a blank. So I suggested that we give Dinosaurs a chance. We fished Friday and he was able to put his first keeper in the boat 51 1/2. His Dad had 2 oversize on we came off the buoy ball. He put on a show as we floated 1/2 mile down stream only to release it. On Saturday morning we went back to bears. Went into a draw and set up. sitting there enjoying the sun rise and we had company. He made a one and done on the bear.
I put the bear on the scale so he knew what it weighed. We scaled his dinosaur and it was 40 pounds.

It is a perfect trip, I was a tech advisor, spectator, broke down guide, equipment operator.
The grandson saw just how slippery bear fat get's in the heat.
chilled bear fat is much easier to remove.
Son's dinosaur' this was the first several boats just stayed with us as we drifted while he fought it. the second one almost spooled him and broached and cut off.
