Bone I know what you mean.  Between the small back and the reductions because of it I bet it robs 10 inches from it's net score.

found west of a line drawn from the Canadian
border south on the Pacific Crest Trail and along

Hey Colok, that is one hell of a blacktail and a trophy of a lifetime. I know it aint worth much but my opinion is that buck is a far cry from a 171 net buck, let the flames commence

No biggie huntnphool.  I am definately not an expert on scoring antlers but my little brother took it to the Yakima Sportsmens show about 6 years ago and that's what they scored it as.  If you'd like I could take a picture of the tag that's behind the ear when I'm at my dad's place next time.
