It was good meeting you in person on the water. Proud Grandpa you are.  :tup:I hope to make some great memories with my grand kids to when they get old enough to fish and hunt.

Outstanding!!!!!! Congrats to all!
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

It was a pleasure to meet you as well. Social distancing drifting past. Grandson is torn on whether he enjoyed the fishing more or the bear. told him he could do it all over again. He  just needed to get another bear tag.

I think they might be done until deer season. When they got here I told them I won't fish dinosaurs alone. After the trip and having to chase 2 of them down he knows why.  :chuckle:

I do think the deck crew will be better prepared the next time. Hoping my other son will make a trip up also. But just hoping the temps cool down a shade.

On the way back to the coast they dropped the hide off at the taxidermist I use in Spokane.

Congratulations to your grandson on both accomplishments. Good call on the fishing there is not too much action during the day up their right now, too hot. My Uncle Jim and I were up early August, I saw two bear so far. Passed a 140 lb bear opening morning at 300 yards 20 minutes into the season. Him and are are headed up in October for Elk season, maybe we will run into you then.
