Shoot one standing next to the road wasn't an option so I went with spot and stalk which was the closest. :dunno:

WA cow will likely be called in but anytime I can slip in and shoot one without making any noise ill take that option

WY elk is a late October rifle hunt and I'm looking for a better than average bull so it'll be a lot of glassing. Find the right one, slip in and kill him.

I prefer to call them in, but have a good area that elk move through a lot.  So probably do a bit of both.  I hate to still hunt, but odds are really good at filling a tag if I can be patient.  Maybe try to chase some bugles in the AM then still hunt the mid day.

Other.  Living vicariously through you all on H-W.  I have an EW Modern tag but no plans to use it.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
