I would stay away from Hornady One Shot. People call it “one stuck” for a reason. I had to have two stuck cases to learn my lesson.

I think STP is the same thing as the RCBS case lube.  That's what i use now.  A quart of STP will last me for.... not sure as I'm still using it.

Bill,

RCBS has 2 kinds of case lube, one is a pump spray and the other is a dropper bottle that's for use with their case lube pad.  Are you saying that the dropper bottle one is basically STP?

Dropper bottle - https://www.rcbs.com/case-prep/lubricate/case-lube-2/16-9311.html

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

I prefer Dillon or Hornady One Shot in a pinch.  Here's how to use it correctly....

Take a plastic tub, the kind that is 4-5" tall and has a lid on it.  Spray the inside of the tub with lube and put a couple hand fulls of brass in.  Put the top on and shake it around a little bit.  Poor the brass out evenly on a towel and let it dry.

It will work for you then.

I'm not sure why you guys are having problems with One Shot?!  I've been using it for years and reload on average 5-6k rounds a year from 300wsm to 6.5 creed, to .223.  Never had a stuck case yet.  Guess I'm lucky!

The only problem I have with one shot is that a lot goes NOT on the cases or in the case mouths.  I like the container and tumble method mentioned above.
