My guess is its those little prickly suckers that cover you when you walk through the brush. I don't know how many hours of my life I have spent picking them off my clothes

Hound's-tongue seeds.  There are few weeds that I hate more.  Early winter coats of our whitetailed deer here in the Palouse can have quite a few of them, but no critter picks them up more effectively than my dog...

You never cease to amaze with your photography skills. I always liked that type of four point rack. The front forks remind me of crab claws. Thanks for sharing!
