Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

Im leaning towards Wolves attacked and killed hum but not at night. They killed him by the tarp as he was trying to get to his 9MM. It will happen here some day too

I find it disappointing that you came to a reasonable conclusion about an attack outside his hammock, but the "experts" concluded he cut himself on a knife, cleaned the knife, put it away, made a field dressing, died slowly in his hammock, and because he was already dead the wolves decided not to trash his camp while consuming him. What a strange world we find ourselves in.
