im anxious to see who knocks the first bear of the season down! we are a few hours in already and im completely jealous of anyone in the woods right now! cant wait to start reading some stories and seeing some pictures! good luck everyone!

Me too.  Sad that I am so pathetic I am just as excited about someone else out hunting.  I am having hunting withdrawals and its only been a month since I stop hunting coyotes.  I might have to go shoot some puppies if I dont get some help.   :chuckle:  J/K

no tracks, no chipmonks,still to much snow for my location.tried hiking in to deep for my leg right now,it wont be long...still having a good time down lower looking for sheds...seen alot of guys on the roads,for a wednesday.seen 8 elk two had horns 3x3 and a spike.mass deer out..but theres no deer in hancock :chuckle:

i saw one grouse and a bunch of elk tracks.  oh and one peeled tree.  better luck tomorrow

Good luck everyone!! Be the first year in five that I won't be out there hunting or helping.  Maybe I'll get some fishing in :dunno:  Or some scouting for my multiseason elk tag :tung: :chuckle:
