2020 late archery whitetail

Any signs of that whitey being a cross with a muley?! Those G2s look like muley

Forked G2s are super common in mature whitetails up in the mountains
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Late archery cascade blacktail. Thanksgiving morning and my first archery harvest. This is my second year archery hunting. I was still hunting in the timber and this guy stepped into an opening between the trees at 40 yards and gave me a good broadside shot. I hit a bit further back than I would have liked, but still hit the back tips of both lungs and he piled up after about 80 yards.

Congrats on a dandy blacktail and first archery harvest. I rotated the photo for ya.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Thanks. I tried re attaching the photo probably right at the same time you were trying to flip it so it’s upside down again. Not sure why it’s doing that. Thanks for fixing it.

That's a beautiful buck Laural!! Congrats to you and the hard work you put in. Not as easy as that 2 point you got with your rifle though huh?

Ha! No not as easy at all. The big fork was close to the road. With this buck I was about a mile or so deep when I shot him. Lots of work but very worth it.

Well that's a very nice good old buck.  I know you had help getting it out. If you ever get in a jam let Mike or me know and we can help out. Well Mike can carry your bow. :chuckle:
