When I was trapping in North Carolina I always had meat orders for raccoons, muskrat, opossum, and beaver. I made good money selling meat.

I didn't know there was much demand for testicles  but it looks like you could make some money selling meat and parts of animals we trap.

When I was buying fur in the Midwest in the late 70's a few of the country dealer I bought from shipped out regularly 40 foot refer vans of coon carcasses; that's the main reason they wanted to buy the coon in the round.

We tried lynx in Alaska made  "hassenfeffer"(rabbit) or as "Cattzenfeffer".  It was OK, so were beaver and muskrat.  Some members of my family didn't try them.

When we came to WA state I was told that we have to save mountain lion meat.  Is that true?

I would not consider Armadillo unless we were starving.  They can carry the germs of Hansen's disease---Leprosey.

yes, you are required to take the meat from a cougar.  But you can give it away if you want.  Just pm me if you get one, i know a guy who will take it.

Cougar are so good eating it would be worth hunting them just for their meat. You'd be amazed how much meat there is on the front half of the body as compared with the back half. Kind of opposite of how a ungulate is built.
