Archery hunt area around Snohomish, King, or Pierce County help
« on: September 17, 2020, 07:47:32 PM »
hi,

I am new to hunting around the Western side of WA. I couldn't get a deer on the east side during the opening week, so I am really hoping someone may have a suggestion on where I could go on the west side of the state before the end of the season.  Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Check out the Stillwater Wildlife Area, it’s any deer during early archery.

Crescent Lake is also any deer.

Cedar Ponds is any buck. But heads up there are Bear and Cougars. So just be prepared.

Otherwise, check out the San Juan Islands. Smaller deer, but if you can get permission on a property, it’s basically a lay up. The deer are overpopulated out there.

Good luck!

for future reference... all the clubs and pro shops assocaiated with the Washington State Archery Association, AND we put out a comprehensive list of shoots  for the year that comes out in November or December
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
