A family treasure comes home
«

About 18 years ago my grandfather passed away. He left my stepdad his Colt Diamondback .22 revolver. To me, my grandfather is/was the greatest human being that has ever walked this planet. This gun was probably my favorite gun that he owned. I’m not gonna lie, it going to my stepdad was not my idea of awesome
. Anyway fast forward 18 years. My stepdad was up for a visit last weekend from Arizona and he brought the gun. Gave it to me. Said he always felt like I should have had it back then, and now he was making it right. I was speechless. Original box still there even.
Side note I’ll be shopping for a right handed holster for it soon. My pop was a southpaw so the holster it came with won’t work for me. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m all ears. I’d like to stick with something leather that fits the gun. No plastic, kydex etc.

Awesome revolver. That is a great story, and two thumbs-up to your stepdad.

VERY COOL!
I was heartsick when my grandpa's Browning A5 got sold to a family friend before I was even told it was being sold.

Sweet pistol
Left hand holster works if you wear it on your 6, for concealment
