Help needed, Knight Muzzleloader
« on: September 21, 2020, 04:18:56 PM »
I'm in a jamb, and completely my fault!  :bash:

I wanted to make the switch to 209 primers, so I bought a Knight Bighorn earlier this summer and just opened it to get ready for elk. Like a dummy I waited essentially until the last minute, and didn't realize I needed the Full Plastic Jackets required for my muzzleloader. No store in the Spokane region has any of these in stock and Knight is currently running a two week lead time. Does anyone have any of these Jackets to spare? Of course I will pay for them. I really appreciate it! Also, if by any chance you had some extra .50 300gr Bloodline bullets and sabots you would be my hero!!! Otherwise I will stick to the standard bullets offered by Sportsman, Cabelas, or Blacksheep. Thanks guys!

I don't have just the sabots, I only have the bullet/sabot combinations.  But I do shoot Knight Bloodlines .50 cal 300 grain.

If you already have your gun dialed in to some other bullet, I would definitely stick with that.  Then you can make the switch after early season, and well before late season.

Where are you located?  (Duh, you said Spokane-  I could mail some- if you are coming down to Lewiston-Clarkston, you could swing by my place, etc.)

I have a bunch of the full plastic jackets.  But I'm across the state.  I could ship you some, probably be there by the weekend.  Let me know.

I would, but I promised my hunting partner my #11 Vortek because I was going to use the bighorn. I have yet to shoot the bighorn due to my lack of planning and lack of muzzleloader supplies in Spokane area.

I suppose we could share my Vortek  :chuckle:

Pretty sure I have the 300 grain bloodlines. I also have several lehighs that I think are the same bullet. I'll check and get back to you.

Top box are 275 grain Bloodlines. Bottom full box is 300 grain Bloodlines. Make me a fair offer and they are yours.

I’ve got a bunch of the plastic jackets too if you need some. I’d have to ship though as I’m not driving that way anytime soon. At least get you enough to get through the beginning of the season

Thank you to all that replied and the willingness to help! Between elkboy, hntnfsh, and lazydrifter I think they have me covered. Glad there are fellow hunters out there willing to help someone that did a piss poor job of planning. Greenhead_killer, if all else fails you are on my way to elk camp

Just a heads up.  Natchez just got some more knight stuff back in stock.  They have the red FPJ in stock for 5.49 per hundred.  Knight bloodlines and some breech plugs.  Prices are way cheaper than ordering thru Knight.

Well shoot......I must have been living under a rock because I have never heard of these guys. Looks like they have everything I'd need at a good price. I'm glad you guys helped me out as I should be shooting by this weekend. I'll pick up a bunch of those caps and send them your way, unless you need something different. I really appreciate the help.
