Anchovies under a Big Bobber cast from off the Beach, are just the ticket to take on the Schools of Chum as they roll round the Point just North of Hoodsport.
Waders come in handy when the tide comes in if you're lucky enough to be the first to park in the only space along the narrow lanes of HWY 101. (No Combat Fishing Here) Bring plenty of Bait as you can run out before you limit out. Sore arms will follow the disappearance of your Bobbers.

Is there a way to get the eggs out without having to actually touch them?

I actually get a few a year in my back yard, very small creek and one day I'll hear a bunch of ruckus and a couple days later the smell hits.  It's usually any day now, right around candy day.

Looks like a good rain coming this week, talking up to 3 inches should see those fish in your yard later this week. Lol!

Just an FYI your "X" would be the point North of Hood Sport!
Your pic has South, up.

Better hurry:

November 6, 2020
Fishing to close within the Hoodsport Hatchery Zone
Action: Closes all fishing.
Effective date: Nov. 9, 2020 through Nov. 30, 2020.
Species affected: All species.
Location: Hoodsport Hatchery Zone (Marine Area 12 waters within a 2,000-foot arc seaward of yellow buoys at the mouth of Finch Creek at Hoodsport Salmon Hatchery).
Reason for action: Fishery managers estimate that the 2020 fall chum run is about one-third of the way through normal run timing while the hatchery has only achieved 10 percent of broodstock needs. This rule is necessary to ensure that broodstock needs are met.
Additional information: Please visit https://fortress.wa.gov/dfw/erules/efishrules/ for up to date in-season fishing rule changes.
Information contact: Fish Program, 360-902-2700

I'm sure closing the hatchery area to sport fishing is going to be the difference maker when there were nets all over the place from Potlatch up yesterday.

Oh, and the Potlatch launch was open yesterday.  Of course it was for tribal netters only!
