Alpine boar down!
« on: October 01, 2020, 08:38:44 PM »
Hey all! have lots say but I’ll keep it short.  I wanted an alpine bear and I got it today  with grandpas pre64 Winchester. He’s been gone for awhile now.

I was only going to check my new honey hole out and there were at least 4 bear in there.
Pack out was incredibly difficult. Close to 4000ft elevation over 4miles from trail head to top.

I want Thankhunt wa. for all the support and resources this forum provides. Be well.

Is it possible to load iPhone images from my phone?

Very cool!!  I've landed a number of fish on my grandpa's old Sear's rod from the 40's with an old Penn..  Still trying to get it done with his old lever action 30/30 Ted William's model.  Congrats..

Congrats!  Rarely are they close to roads when I get them...  Was the mask on due to hikers near you?

Way to get it done with a family treasure.  Sounds like hard work but that makes it sweeter.

Thanks for sharing.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I use it the for a headband cause I sweat like crazy. I also covered my face with it while I was dressing out animal cause the bugs were eating me alive and I used it cause I wanted to be courteous to hikers as this is a well used trail by all sorts of walks of life. I definitely want to be a beacon of good light for hunters.
This type of neck gaiter works well for everything. I’m sure one could find other things it could be useful for.
