Haven’t heard anything about that one. But there was some commotion yesterday apparently. People should know their surroundings and know what they’re shooting at that’s for sure.......
just curious East of Meridian? I know the west of Meridian issues have been a problem before. Fairly rural area and open shoot as long as you are being careful.
Some people are paranoid just hearing a gun shot. Might have been 100% legal and 100% safe.
Legal or not........ be careful and know your surroundings!

But if they are shooting towards houses that is no good.Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
NRA says maximum range for .308 is 2.6 miles. The problem with hunting in places with a bunch of houses is that it can be very hard to ensure there isn't a house, car, person, livestock, pets, etc within 2.6 miles in any direction you might want to take a shot. If the 2.6 mile line leaves the property you are hunting it can be incredibly difficult to determine if the shot is safe.https://www.nrafamily.org/articles/2019/11/7/gun-safety-ammunition-maximum-range/
Hmmmm...wonder if that is a guided hunter....not good from the sounds of it.

Still very concerning......... thing is we as hunters all had to take hunters safety right...?? Well I know for a fact they teach to always be sure what your background is and where you’re at before you ever take a shot at an animal....!! If it was “the guide”......... well he should know better, but seems like it doesn’t really matter much to that guy...!! He has quite the reputation in this area for some of the shenanigans he pulls.!
is there any possibility the guy in the blind was using a bow?
A blind facing in the direction of some houses doesn't necessarily mean someone would be shooting directly at a house. It's something you'd probably have to see in person to really know. But just to say it's not safe because the direction a blind is facing just seems to me like something that can't be determined without actually being there.
The way this is looking People would have a hay day if they drove around my town blinds on 2 acre lots on up just because a blind facing a house doesn't mean there shoot at the house most of the blinds have openings all away around them if they don't still doesn't mean there shooting towards someone's house in royal king county you can shoot your rifle muzzleloader off as long as your bullet don't leave your property that's in king county anyways . Most of the elk around my area get shot out pastures 5 acre lots . Elk comes through your field boom elk down .
