Unit 30 Colorado

Been debating asking this but, anybody been to unit 30? Heading there in a few weeks for mule deer and have a plan, would love to bounce our plan off of somebody’s experience. hate to ask these questions but thought I’d throw a this out to see if anybody had been there.

Have you planned for the fire?  Might want to look into the Pine Gulch Fire as it has burned parts of 30.  Also, plan for fire restrictions, pretty much no open flames anywhere in the state unless it’s a designated camp area with a permanent fire ring.

Yeah, started tracking the fire when it kicked off this summer so our plans account for that. Good to know about fire restrictions, will be sure to be up on the current restrictions when we head out.
