Moose love Mt Ash. In Alaska they tear branches off the trees if they find them.

Nice! I've heard they can make good jelly. Always wanted to try it one day.

Jumped one at 12 yards eating off a Mountain Ash. Had no clue he was there. Found this the next day.

Do bears eat them? Found a bunch just wondering.

Two autumns ago in mid to late Sept. I sat and watched a bear eat mountain ash berries for half an hour.  He was about 150 yards down and across a basin from me and I first noticed him when I saw bush tops moving.  He would reach up and pull down limbs to eat the berries.
