North sound muzzy elk

Anyone having any luck chasing the elusive elk of the south fork valley? It’s been fairly quiet. I am hoping that changes come late season

Just so you know.... over here in north Idaho - it is hot and dry - haven't had cool night yet - let alone freezing! They are not talking here either!!!
Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

Fairy low harvest rate and lots of private make it a difficult hunt.

Seems a bit like right place right time, gotta catch them up in the hills crossing gmu’s. Two months for late season though👍

 Put some miles in this last weekend , very quiet !    Then hear rumor of wolf pack near hunting area , taking apart a deer... might explain some things.   Going out again friday to see what can be found.

Still?? I guess thats good for my rifle hunt end of october that came with my A tag. The archery hunt in September was awful this year
