F150 Grew Up Today!
« Reply #15 on: October 17, 2020, 06:14:48 PM »
Wow, somehow missed this one popping back up.
The F-150 pulled the weight no problem, it was just a little too light for the amount of drag that the trailer puts out. It wasn’t worth risking it with 30k car inside.
I was thinking about selling outright, and would have if the dealer wouldn’t have paid the loan off. I wouldn’t have been able to get much more than the loan amount selling it outright.
We hauled the trailer with the new truck and a friend’s newly acquired mustang in the back, didn’t even know it was there on the freeway. Way more comfortable towing with it. I still miss the F-150 and would buy another in a heartbeat if we didn’t need the dodge. It definitely drives and tows better than my old 99 ram did, that’s for sure!

71 Mach 1?
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
Psalm 144.1

Negative, just a fastback. Fired up after setting a grimy old carb on it though!
