They also required my 1639 compliance training document for the first time ever. Oh yeah and you now have to check a box giving up your medical records privacy for mental health. That’s right.....now they have access to your private medical records and history. With the above being said....if you think they aren’t watching and keeping records, your wrong. Big brother is watching always.
To the best of my knowledge, WA has a database containing handgun purchases legally made through an FFL, but I don't think that list contains any long guns or shotguns.When I renewed my CPL one year, they accidentally gave me back all the paperwork which included a full background check. In that check was a list of handguns I have purchased in WA going back to the 90's. I don't know how far back the database goes as that was my first handgun purchase so it likely goes back further.

This goes along with the 10 day minimum wait period and additional paperwork....your ruger 10-22 is now an assault weapon and they now treat it like pistols previously. This may be incorrect, but that is the impression I get. Oh and you CPL only allows you to carry now and does not waive a wait period.
