If it was the same video from Rogue Outdoorsman on YouTube it kind of makes me sick.  It's great bull and taken within the rules but it is not much of a hunt.  Not to impressed with the show up and shoot routine on most of these hunts.  Felt bad for Trent in a way as I believe his wife had a late tag for that unit.  At least he's getting some replica antlers of it.

JJ sure bought a nice bull. Huge team of guys did all the work and keep others from going after him. My favorite part was all the guys doing the work while he sat under a tarp in the shade. Not much of an accomplishment, just my opinion.

Wow. Hats off to the Rogue Outdoorsman for being a good sport and sucking it up. Twenty guys beat the rich fat guy riding a mule to the bull...now that’s huntin!!

Not very Interesting to watch, but cool animal. And public land to boot!  Very cool.

Yes, I saw the show where they ask Trent not to disturb the bull so JJ could shoot it.
He felt that even if spooked it, the team of guides would eventually relocate the bull and it would make him (Trent) look like a spoiler and an sob.
He was put between a rock and a bigger rock. I wouldn’t have blamed Trent for pushing the bull out of the location, as it was on public land AND he had been following it for the past 2 or more years. But, the team of guides likely would have found it again.

Clearly trent wasn't the only one watching that bull... jj's speach after getting to the bull  was excellent..you can cherry pick and look for negatives all you want..try staying positive and you may see this video in a different light

Pretty special animal, glad it went to a guy that appreciates it

I don’t there was anything wrong with JJ shooting the bull. It was on public land, but if I were in Trent’s shoes,  having put in all that time, I’d be very bummed. It was a big deal for him to agree not to push the bull, if you look at it from his side. I believe that a replica of the bulls antlers were going to be made and given to Trent. That’s gracious (and good PR)!

I came away with the same thought after listening to his speech at the end
I actually was waiting to see and hear how he would act after the shot and I came away with the thought of how appreciative he really was and How he said he’s not a hunter but goes out with hunters
He seems and sounded like the type of guy who’s not going to make this into a I’m a great hunter but that he will actually put it out there for what it was he made a lot of dough and was able to do this type of thing
