Well, designed and built the lift mechanism for the bed. Failed horribly and didn’t work good enough when I installed it. Going to redo it with better components this winter. Got the bed lifted up and pinned in place manually with some help from the neighbor today. Need to shave 1/4” off the ends of the frame that slide in the track as it is a pretty tight fit in the raised position. Pulled the car in and tucked the trailer away on the end of the house for winter. Bonus is the doors on the car open and clear the wheel wells so I don’t have to Duke it out the window!! Will resume work on it in the spring or when we pull the car out for winter maintenance.
We will end up putting a total of 4 windows in it, but only have one in for now. Those suckers are spendy!! It is to the point we can use it as soon as the weather makes it worth going somewhere. Need to pick up a small electric heater still, but will be fine for the summer time.

Got more pics of the RS?

Sweet!
A coworker of mine back in the 90s since retired. Had a 68, RS, SS that he bought brand new after he came home from Vietnam. That was one pristine car with only 42k original miles on it.
