Sad to hear about the issue with this herd but I am impressed that rather than just bringing in a crew of approved  guys to take them out, WDFW is allowing random hunters that applied for this tag to have opportunity to hunt sheep.. It makes sense … I must be missing something :dunno:

Anybody still hunting? Noticed two lifted trucks the last several days and saw them looking at the sheep along the highway Thursday morning.

I wonder if they were the same two trucks I saw at the Milk Lake road gate yesterday.  I didn't see anyone out on the hillsides between there and Waterworks, but there are a lot of ewes, lambs, and a few young rams out and about.

I know 4 out of the 5 of us got rams. Not sure about the last person but I know he had spotted some shooters the day before.

Didn't know this was happening.  Guess I was too far down the list.  Glad to see hunters get the opportunity.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.
