That is insane.
Where is that video from?
I feel like it almost looks like someone started to skin it and remove the backstraps and it was still alive, jumped up and ran away.

Phew that's nasty. Amazingly tough animals. Had to have been clipped by a car, or run over by a combine or something. Lot of deer get chewed to pieces in combines every year.

Oh wow. Shoulder blade rising up out of the wound? I wonder if it was hit by a car and was unconscious when someone tried to remove the backstrap.

Blows my mind
It looks very clean. Does look like someone started to remove the back straps and it took off.
That is the wildest thing that I have ever seen

I keep seeing this. Appear to be missing a backstrap. Not breathing strange, not limping at all. And no blood on the hide? My vote is some fancy video editing.

That would be my guess too. How it didn't bleed out is beyond me

Im no muscle doctor, but I'm guessing a deer missing a backstrap most likely couldn't walk let alone without a limp. Pretty entertaining video though!
