You feel singled out because a gun topic got put in the gun section where its more likely to be seen since you have to opt into virtual campfire and many aren't  :dunno: if anything the mods blew some life into it by moving it :twocents:

And once again its kind of pointless since nobody has been hating on JSG because it hasn't been available for purchase in a good while. And even if it was, I think most don't put much stock into opinions of shooters with 10 year old powder  :chuckle:
PS - So are they out of business then, you seemed like you knew? I called their # and it went to voicemail after a few rings “This is Brett please leave a message“ but was told that the voice mailbox was full when I tried. Saw some articles about the powder on different websites and it sounded like the main sales rep’s name was Brett so I’m guessing he’s connected with the outfit?

I dont know for sure but I can't find any JSG or standard American pioneer powder anywhere and I've been looking for a long time. Got really hard to find a few years back but I found a bunch and snagged 12lb of it. Ran out and have had to go to 777 which is fine but JSG shot better out of my gun. Velocities are more stable with T7 but the gold was well within an acceptable level. I have to clean more often with T7.

Yeah I’ve had about the same experience with 777. Picked up a pound of APP a few weeks ago at the local sporting goods store (Hooked On Toys) in Wenatchee, but it was the last one and had been sitting on the shelf for quite a while according to the guy at the gun counter. I think those negative articles by Randy Wakeman and a few other “field gurus” scared everybody off...

Keeping black powder substitute “unsealed” for 10 years.... what does that mean?  Lid was cracked open and then closed or lid was left off for 10 years?   Curious if it can stand up to that?
Howdy Magnum!
They were rattling around in old Thompson/Center plastic single charge holders in a MOLLE pouch that I had laying around. Possibly splash proof but definitely not waterproof or protected from humidity and temperature changes.

They've been like 4 different companies and I think just finally gave up due to endless lawsuits for various things.
