It’s almost done drying. I don’t have any pictures. I started last Sunday. All the hair is still on the bear.

Fidalgo doesn’t do hair on tans anymore they are too busy. I found that Rods taxidermy in Arlington does them still, has anyone heard anything about them or have experience with him?

I currently have a bear hide with Rod's Taxidermy.  Having a soft tan done.  He's had it for 16 months now and is having the same problems with the tannery he uses that have been mentioned.  This Covid thing is causing delays.  I talked to him a couple months ago and he was quite frustrated with not getting his stuff back.  He said he had a lot of hides that haven't come back to him.  As far as his work goes, the mounts in his shop look really nice.  It's quality work.
