Sgammo.com got 500 of 9mm rounds within 2 weeks.  Also decided to get 840 rounds of 5.56.

This was my first choice. No 124g FMJ except for very small boxes at not-so-very-small cost. I can wait a few months. Thanks Russ.

Fortunately, I've always ratholed ammo away. But I don't see this shortage going away for a long time.

There is a reason i am loading the 5 gallon bucket of spent cases from the shop.  Used to save it to sell to the reloaders...now I am reloading for my own shooting and some for shop test shooting of repaired guns.

Whatta ya mean I can't have one of each?

What we have here is...Washington Department of NO Fish and WATCHABLE Wildlife.

This is why it is good to have an unpopular caliber in addition to 9mm.

Plenty of 10mm here.

Yep.  I went looking for 30-06.  I found tons of WSM, 6.5 manbun, PRCs, and of course the Weatherbys and RUM's.

I found three boxes in my closet when I was digging for something today. It felt like Christmas.

I will say that a Glock with different barrels sounds like a good investment. If you own a 40 the a 357 sig should do the trick!

Federal way Sportsman's had 147gr 9mm for $16 limit 2 today. Half was gone by the time I walked away from the gun counter after fondling a Ridgeline in 6.5PRC

I have a .40, .45 and a .357 and haven't seen much of that ammo in stores.   The 9mm is my wife's.

I saw plento of 30-06 at sportsmans spokane when i was there about a month or so ago.  Also manbun, 243, 7mag, 7mm-08, 270 etc etc.  Zero 308 or 223, and the only handgun ammo they had was a few boxes of 32auto.

Buy cheap and stack deep is the motto I live by.  I was getting cases of 9mm shipped right around $165 a year or two ago.  I guess I took advantage, 7k rounds hopefully should last while the ammo shortage plays out

Ya when you can buy for damned near the price of reloading how can you go wrong? I kept sharing with everyone the 35c a round buckshot off Midway USA... everyone asked why would you need 250 rounds?

This was already a year of hoarding guns and ammo, shelves are empty across the west, and I've heard all over the country. With the election results developing, its going to get worse!  :yike:
