Tribal hunting question

Ok, I absolutely don't want this to turn in to a tribal hunting bashing thread.  I just have a couple of questions that I couldn't find answers to online... 

1- Do the tribes allow their members to hunt with any weapon any time?
2- Do they have "seasons" per se?

What I'm really trying to figure out is whether there will be a lot of guys running around with modern weapons in an area I'll be bow hunting after Thanksgiving.  According to the biologist this particular area gets a lot of tribal pressure.

If you are talking about the general area for the yakama tribe, the yakama's have a year round season, any weapon, no limits.  what general area are you thinking?

...and each tribal member has his own standards and ethics, even when their tribal regulations seem to allow unlimited hunting. I know and have worked with several tribal members from different tribes who are all ethical subsistence hunters. They kill what they can eat. Some belong to this forum.

Yup, not all are over harvesting, thank God.  If you are thinking of a certain FLAT area on top, you will see a one or two natives in trucks, but there was always plenty of room.  It will be interesting to see how many elk actually show up.

Pretty sure they have a no cow elk/no doe season. I don't remember the details.

After Hoof Disease has gone through the St. Helens herd, I believe that the Yakima herd is the biggest in the state - not positive. Go kill an elk.
