We noticed that when we grain finished, we were causing liver issues for the animal.

We switched to grass only and our animals have stayed significantly healthier.

Can you elaborate on that, symptoms etc?

Yeah I don’t remember exactly what it looked like but I recall looking at the liver and saying “who that looks off”.  I took it to a local guy who knows beef better than I do and the first thing he asked is if we were grain finishing the animal. 

I’m pretty sure if you google it you’ll find info out there in it.  Probably from pro-grass fed sites.

Never had a fatty liver, don't grain that heavy.
