What a great picture of a truly magnificent animal

Great buck, kind of looks like some swelling on left side of face, like maybe he has an abscess.  Seen that a few times in the wt here.

I thought so too, but wondered if it was just extra fat and the way he was cranking his neck.   I had one a couple years ago that was obviously something wrong

Looks like the swelling goes up into the eye area, might be a bad tooth or maybe he took a head shot from one of his buddies.

Old mature muley.  His hind quarters seem to be thin. Maybe just the angle.
