Traveler
« on: November 06, 2020, 03:20:06 PM »
I watched him breed a doe as  I attempted  to try to close the distance.  He ended up walking by me.  I found him about 5 miles away in about an hours time.  I bailed out of my truck and position myself where I thought he'd go.  I wasn't stealthy enough but he did pause to pant and to give me the look

Such an awesome critter.   8)
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Isn’t it funny.  I see bigger bucks all the time, but this type and he are a real favorite of mine.  I thought it was because he reminded me of my first mature Muley.   Apparently he strikes a cord with many.

What a neck and the look on his face too. Like the one grinning in the other thread. Bone, do you by chance sell your pictures? It would be cool to have a version that's blown up a bit to put in my garage/man cave.

Dark and beefy antlers are super tough to not like. That one has it all! Not the biggest but he would make most look twice!

Maybe im weird but i really dont like the super wide muleys.  An ear wide, tall heavy dark horne buck turns my crank much more.  If i see one like that tomorrow hes getting a backpack ride.

I sell a few on that site link.  I'm horrible about adding to it because thats not why I do photography.   If you see a buck you like this fall or a particular image, let me know I'll try to add some images. Not all the photos I post are capable of enlarging.
Thank you for the interest.

One of the things I look forward to most is all the pics you post every year. Stud buck and love to see what’s hiding up in them hills.

Thank you. More to come I hope.   Today was a down day for deer.   Nothing but spikes and forkies.  I had a good visit with Idabooner, so that was just fine.
