Negative where I am. This little guy came grazing in yesterday morning with two does. No sign of rut from him.

Sorta like 18 year olds thinking about Spring break and trying to come up with a plan.

The mature bucks will show when its time to rut.  The little guys are mostly just hopeful early on as they annoy the does.

Last night again, 3 young bucks 15+ does, 0 interaction.

Maybe some Busch light would help him break the ice

I grunted a 4x4 whitetail in to 6 yards last night (Idaho). I couldn't resist the excellent shot opportunity,  and concluded my season a bit early. At any rate, some of the bucks are responsive to calling!

I've got a young BT following a doe on camera on the 2nd. She didn't seem interested but he was around the area sniffing earlier in the day. They both came through at 1030 am.

That's what I saw this weekend.  Small bucks were aggressive.  Bigger bucks didn't seem to care at this point but I feel like it is getting close.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
