Rimrock
« on: April 17, 2009, 08:26:29 AM »
I will be putting in for the Rimrock Cow tag this year and if drawn I plan on doing a large amount of scouting throughout the summer/fall and I was wondering if anyone has gone after or seen many bears up in that area. I plan on focusing on the Round Mtn. area first and moving on from there. Just wondering if I might be able to harvest a bear while also scouting for elk.

Thanks!

I have not hunted this area a ton, but the Pinegrass Ridge area had sign everywhere. But of course I never saw a bear :bash:.

Rimrock has some bears but not a huge population.  i've seen some right off the south fork tieton road though.  Man those elk pics are giving me buyers remorse over my westside tag this year.
