Very nice!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Beautiful ram. What a great animal!

I used to hunt late archery deer past that radio tower. Then 911 they gated that parking lot. Start there and hunt up to the top then back down

We definitely scoped that spot out before the hunt but still gated/no access. Would've been a good approach. We had dipped below that rock band under the tower and staged up. There were a bunch of rams up to our right in the pic. My buddy and our other friend had crawled up to the next rocks to go for a shot but got spotted. The rams clumped up tight with our target right in front but moved over the next spine and out of sight w/out a shot. They dropped down and on to the center ridge up the canyon. We moved up but were stuck on the other side from them and ran out of daylight. We spent the whole opening day on that ridge. Left the truck at daylight, got back after 8pm. Though we didn't get the shot that day was a ton of fun in some great ground. I ain't goin that route for a deer though!  :chuckle:

Used to be a good deer spot. And no one else would be there. Great Job

Beautiful Ram and mount! How many points did you use to draw? My dad has 23 this year and hope we're getting close...

As others mentioned; great looking critter and mount!

I killed alot of chukar's over the years around that reflector. Seems silly the lookout has been closed for 20 years now?

Not my tag, my buddy had mid range. Your pops is well qualified!

Thought about going for some revenge on those chukars but looking back at pics made me resign to the duck blind.  :chuckle:
