Another City Buck
« on: November 08, 2020, 11:46:46 PM »
Thought I'd add another city buck to the mix. Went down to Ocean Shores this weekend with the family. Arrived in town Friday afternoon and came home after the game today. We saw 11 bucks, 18 does and 2 fawns...Un-freakin-believable. Westport has some city deer, but I forgot how thick they were here. We stayed down at Oyhut Bay Village...Had a different buck almost every morning right outside the back door. This big guy was when we were leaving town today. All the boys necks were swollen and they either had their noses in the ground or just head up and meandering aimlessly. This was a 4x4 with eye guards and he just was cruising. Saw only 1 buck, fork horn, with his nose up a does tail. Great weekend....minus the fact they were city deer and it wasn't open season.

That's a stud.  Crazy how many big bucks are in that area.  Gotta get a city permit.

It is very crazy! Could be a dumb question coming here...Or lack of research...  But, is that a thing?  "City Permit"

That's a great deer. It's insane how many pictures surface every year of nice bucks in the city. A friend of mine kept seeing a nice buck in Tacoma a few years back. I think there was a substantial green belt or other cover nearby that he lived in.

No, OS doesn't let you hunt within city limits.  Some great blackie bucks down there out this time of year.

Holy Crap!     Crazy bucks!  Too bad that last one is only a 3 X 4 with a little crab claw on the left.  Otherwise, he'd be a shooter.
