How did the rest of you bull tag holders do? Our first year in Rimrock with 2 bull tags, ate them both. Seems like alot of places for these animals to hide in that unit. Had a blast regardless. Lets see em!

I ran into a guy in Rimrock unit the weekend before last and his wife had a bull tag. Said they had been hunting for a week and had only seen a few cows.

All but the last Saturday and Sunday. We dedicate those to packing up and cleaning gear before going back to work.  :bash:

Sorry to hear
It's a tough unit for sure , lots of places for them to hide.  But it does hold some nice Bulls . When I had the tag 10ish years ago scouted all pre season , had a couple shooter bulls patterned to a T . Opening morning nothing , took 9 days to finally find a Bull , he just happened to be the top Bull on my list .

Rimrock can be a feast or famine hunt.  Some of the best elk hunters get blanked in that unit.  Can be one of the toughest areas around to harvest a bull in the late bull season.
